Dr. Jim Johnson
Dr. James (Jim) Johnson is the Director of Information & Education Technology in the Morgan Local School District in Southeast Ohio. He received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a Secondary Education certification from Muskingum University. He also holds a Master of Education from Ohio University in Curriculum and Instruction with an Education Technology specialty. Jim completed his Ph.D. at Indiana State in Curriculum and Instruction with an Education Technology concentration and holds a P-12 Indiana Teaching License in Computer Education. James has worked as a director of technology and computer science teacher at the K-12 and university levels since 1997 and has taught several graduate courses as an adjunct professor for several universities. He also operates his own business, JohnsonTech Computer Services. His research interests include social networking, free and open source software, mobile technology, digital textbooks, and teacher technology skills.
